Glassjaw will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Worship & Tribute on July 8th with a show at Irving Plaza in New York City. Those lucky enough to be on the East Coast in July can pick up a commemorative ticket bundle, which features an exclusive hat and ticket, here. Better hurry, though – it’s limited to 93 and will not be reprinted!
Update: Well, that sold out fast.
Following the launch of their own record label, At the Drive-In are planning to re-release 2000’s Relationship of Command.
The band told LA Weekly that in November, the band received the album’s recordings through a reversion deal with Fearless Records, their former label, and are planning to re-release it on “Twenty-first Chapter,” the label that the band formed after patching up their personal relationships 3 years ago. Check out the full interview here.
Yellow and Green, the follow up to 2009’s sludgy, thrash masterpiece Blue Record is ready and set to be released on July 17th, 2012, courtesy of Relapse Records.
In celebration I am currently spinning my signed, aqua green colored Blue Record. You should too!
This is big news, folks. Stay tuned for continued updates and catch them if you can in support of Meshuggah and their new album, Koloss, on “The Ophidian Trek.”

Rumor has it that Deftones will be entering the studio in a few days to record a brand-spankin’-new album. In a very recent interview with Chilean news outlet La Tercera, lead vocalist Chino Moreno bore all and announced the unexpected: a new album will be ready and released by early fall.
This is officially the most anticipated album of the year. Get excited.
Oh, and send some love Chi’s way. He needs it.
Man, has it really been 15 years since we’ve heard a new Soundgarden song? It sure as hell seems like it, but damn does time fly.
With The Avengers releasing in exactly one month from today, “Live to Rise” is the first single off of the soundtrack.
Sadly, it doesn’t seem all that impressive. I guess that’s how most comebacks go, though.
Let us know what you think in the comments below and stay tuned for more coverage on the upcoming Avengers release.
According to an exclusive released by Variety earlier today, Ashton Kutcher will assume the role of Steve Jobs in the upcoming indie biopic, tentatively titled Jobs. The film is set to be directed by Joshua Michael Stern, whose previous films include Swing Vote and Neverwas, while Matt Whiteley will provide the script.
Interestingly enough, Sony Pictures is also developing a biopic of the late Steve Jobs as well, and the film will supposedly be based off of the new biography that was recently released by Walter Isaacson.
Of course, this is all hearsay at the moment (not to mention it’s April Fools – though Variety’s Jeff Sneider confirmed that this is no joke via Twitter), but we will keep you updated on any further details once they come to light.
